Anaplastic Astrocytoma Simulating a Cerebral infarction

Abstract
|
|
|
An anaplastic astrocytoma is developed from astrocytoma with anaplastic tendency, particularly of these arising in the cerebral hemisphere of adult.
It is necessary to be differentiated from glioblastoma, cerebral infarction, metastatic tumor. We are reporting one case, which was difficult to differentiated from cerebral infarction because it´s CT finding and clinical course is similar to that of cerebral infarction.
